Eco Balls

Eco Balls can be used in your washing machine instead of detergent.  They contain pellets infused with minerals which make the water alkaline and draws the stains out of clothing. Three of them go into the machine with your clothes. Because no detergent is used no rinse cycle is necessary. Most machines can be set to skip the rinse cycle so reducing the time your machine is running for saving energy and money.

That’s not the only saving! These balls last for 1000 washes.  If you use your machine 5 times a week, they would last just under 4 years. Imagine not buying detergent ever again! You’d be helping the environment even more by reducing the amount of chemicals flushed into the water system.

They come with a tube of eco stain remover to put on those tough stains and some replacement pellets for adding to the balls after about 750 washes. Once they run out you can buy a packet of new pellets for £20.  The Eco Balls themselves cost about £35. Not much if you consider how much detergent costs. Eco Balls for Cotriona

Cotriona Williams won a set of Eco Balls from WASP by signing up for an energy visit during the Parent/Teacher evening in Coulhill PS in March.  She’s used them and is a convert to never buying washing detergent again!
